Nomination «Classical music» (Woodwinds, brass instruments, percussions, chamber ensemble)

Date and venue:

Competition will take place from November 5 to November 9, 2018 in concert halls of the Kazakh National University of Arts.

General Characteristics of Competition:

–   All rounds of the competition are held in public;

–   The order of appearance will be determined by draw of all participants and lasts until the end of the contest;

Requirements for participants:

– The competition is open to participants of any nationality aged 16 to 31 years inclusive.

Application requirements:

–   Application forms filled with block letters on the offered pattern (sample) together with another required documents are accepted in the organizing committee of department of culture of Astana city and on official website of the festival www.shabyt.astana.kz;

–   Before sending online application make sure that all required fields are filled in.

Also it is NOT recommended to RE-submit an online application (2 or more times). The Application must be completed with all required documents listed below, otherwise it will not be accepted.

  1. Application form on the offered pattern (sample);
  2. Copy of the passport or another document confirming the identity of the participant;
  3. Short biography including academic education, list of competitions and festivals which a candidate has participated;
  4. Copy of diploma or reference from place of study;

– Each participant must provide his own accompanist (room and board at his own expense), if necessary, the organizing committee of the festival can provide an accompanist for a fee.

 

Jury:
The jury consists of authoritative and recognized classical musicians together with famous experts in the world of art. The decision of the jury is not subject to revision!

Registration:

The registration procedure will take place in the building of KazNUI (Tauelsyzdyk Avenue, 50), on November 5, 2018 from 11:00.

Food, accommodation and travel:

Competitors will be provided with accommodation and food during the time they participate in the Competition by Organizing Committee. If competitor drops out of the competition the expenses on his stay are covered independently by competitor.

Foreign competitors independently apply for visa and make out passports in the Kazakhstan consulate.

Contestants arriving in Astana before the deadline will bear the costs of their stay before the arrival time set by the organizing committee (regardless of the flight and train schedule).

– in the nomination “Classical music. Brass instruments “- diploma named after Salimov Sydyk and a cash premium of 80,000 tenge;

Bektaev Aybek and a cash premium of 80,000 tenge;

Mavridia Fedor and a cash premium of 200,000 tenge;
